Principal’s Message:

Dear Golden Owls,

This Friday, November 6 marks the end of the trimester. It is a minimum day and students will be dismissed at 11:30. You will be digitally receiving your child's report card on Friday, November 20th. If you have any questions or concerns about your child's grades, as always, please arrange to talk with the teacher so the teacher can give you more details. We provide interpretation services when requested.

Mark your calendars for Vargas’s ONLINE BOOK FAIR COMING SOON: Parents, be on the lookout for our online Scholastic Book Fair coming November 9-22! We’ll miss the in-person fun that kids and parents usually enjoy, but you can still support their love for reading AND earn rewards for our school in the virtual book fair. You’ll have access to thousands of best-selling books, collections, educational toys, games and more, shipped directly to your home.

Just a reminder Wednesday, November 11th is Veterans Day, and we don’t have school.

We appreciate you for supporting our school and students,

Mr. Taylor

MVLA: “How to Raise a Boy:  The Power of Connection to Build Good Men” Flyer

The MVLA Speakers Series presents: Michael Reichert on “How to Raise a Boy:  The Power of Connection to Build Good Men” on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 - 7:00 - 9:00pm | Live Online

Michael Reichert, Ph.D., is a clinical and research psychologist who has worked with children in a variety of contexts for over 30 years. Dr. Reichert will also comment on our current situation with distance learning and its impact on boys.
